There is no absolute rule for publishing in the DAKS journal (apart from the length and language). However, to help you in writing your paper, these guidelines have been made and this document can be used as a template. These guidelines are based on the American Ceramic Society ones.
The manuscript should not exceed 6 A4 pages including figures, tables and references and can be written in Danish or in English.
The text of each manuscript should be divided into three or more sections. Each section can be divided into two or more subsections. Typical section titles are as follows:
Introduction
Experimental Procedure
Results
Discussion
Conclusions
References should be listed in the order in which they appear in the paper.
References to periodical papers should include (as applicable) the authors' names, paper title, periodical title, volume number, page range, and year of publication.
Book references should include (as applicable) authors' names, chapter/ section title, page range, book title, editors' names, publisher's name and location, and year of publication.
Papers from proceedings should include the
location and date of the relevant meeting, as well as the name and location of
the publisher and the year of publication.
Formats of typical references are shown in the format below.
The manuscript should preferably be sent in word format by email to severine.ramousse@risoe.dk. The DAKS committee assigns one reviewer and comments will be sent back to the author within 1 month after submission.

The abstract should briefly state the purpose of the research (unless given in the title), new or unusual techniques used in the experimental procedure, and significant results. There is no official restriction on the length, but it is recommend to not exceeding much more than 100 words.
